Jet propulsion speedboat design by Ring Powercraft. Developed from their racing team designs and converted for use in the marine leisure industry.
Shockwave has a Volvo-Penta D6-370 engine which has in-line 6-cylinder, supercharged 370hp and the Jet itself is a Hamilton HJ245.
Onboard under the seats are additional lifejackets and the boat has all the safety equipment which is compulsory in order to have a commercial license to carry passengers. This includes a liferaft, liferings, emergency flares, fire fighting equipment, man over board recovery net and CCTV.
Shockwave is our preferred speedboat for our Bay Waves trips which we established in 2021.
Twin Jet propulsion speedboat built by Tiger Marine in 2000 Twist has twin Nanni T4.270 engines and the jets are Hamilton HJ241. Twist is the prototype for the London RNLI boats on the River Thames, is named after Oliver Twist and has been with us since 2022.
Just like Shockwave, the boat has all the safety equipment which is compulsory in order to have a commercial license to carry passengers. This includes a liferaft, liferings, emergency flares, fire fighting equipment, man over board recovery net and CCTV.
For Coastal Shock trips, Twist is our first choice due to the extra power and control of having two engines.
