Cardiff Cruises first set sail in April 2012. Our launch was possible thanks to the success of HMS69 party boats, which was established in 2008. In late 2011 the founder, Martyn Driscoll, made arrangements to purchase a new party boat for Cardiff and relocated his first boat to Manchester to start the HMS69 expansion. Not content with just hosting parties, Martyn set up Cardiff Cruises for tourists and locals alike to be able to get the chance to see the area from the water onboard our boats and has dedicated his career to developing innovative tourism experiences. In 2015 the company consolidated its efforts to concentrate solely in Cardiff Bay.
